Initially disappointed, but service was excellent

Bought this for my bedroom and had trouble getting the wifi feature to work.? Everything else worked fine but for some reason I couldn't get the wifi to even turn on, much less connect.? After a little of my own research (Googling) gave me no helpful info, I contacted the support through Walmart.? It turns out [****] Electronics is the parent corp, so I went through their support ticket process.? The customer rep was helpful and ultimately they replaced the unit at no charge for a brand new unit (and let me keep the defective one, too).All in all, I would recommend this portable AC without hesitation.? Even without the wifi functionality, it cools down my bedroom like a champ.? The additional benefit of being able to use the app to control various functions just makes it that much better.? I gave it 4 stars for Noise Level, but I mean, it's an air conditioner and they aren't known for being the most silent appliances.? Even so, it's not horribly loud and it has two speeds, so you can opt for the lower speed and cut back on the noise a bit if you want.

Great portable AC!

With this being our first freestanding unit, I don't have comparison, but it works exactly like we were hoping.? It came with everything we need for install, was an easy setup, and has required minimal upkeep since.? It keeps the temp exactly where we have it set as well.? We are using it in our twins' room where we already have two white noise machines going, so the noise level, which seems moderate, isn't an issue.

Great AC for the price

We bought this AC for our upstairs after the recent PNW heat wave.? The AC is very quiet (much quieter than our other AC we use downstairs from another brand). So glad we got this model because it was so easy to set up and the remote control makes using it so simple.
