very dangerous

I have only used it 4 times and last time i used it it exploded and burned my hand. I want a refund. Do not use around kids . This item is not safe and in fact it will send grease in the room with vapor.

Nice deep fryer. Few issues

I like this deep fryer. I purchased it because I wanted a bigger fryer than my fry daddy. I like that the temp is adjustable, so I can do wings on a low temp and then go back and crisp the skin at a higher temp. Downsides are the outside of it is rather flexible, and the power cord gets noticeably warm to the touch during operation. I feel they could have provided a power cord with a lower gauge of wire, it shouldn't get warm like that. They also put notches in the magnetic plug on the fryer side of the cord in order to make it incompatible with my old Fry Daddy's cord, which kind of sucked, would have been nice to have a backup.I do like that the green light goes off when its up to temp - its really nice to have an indicator that the oil is at temp. My fry daddy didn't do that.I made some absolutely killer buffalo wings with this, and I am looking forward to making more.

I order this item because it said "Triple Basket", thinking it had 3 baskets. It had just the one oblong basket.I kept it, cause of the price and it looked nice.I used it today for the first time and am satisfied with it. I used it on my patio so as not to smell up and dirty my stove.It heated up quick and fried my shrimp and okra real good. Like the basket that drains the food.I left it cool down outside, then brought in to my laundry room to store. I have the room. Only thing is my room smells the fried food. But no problem, it will go away.All in all, after just 1 use, I am very satisfied with it. Only wish it had at least 2 baskets to fry both at the same time.The "triple basket" is misleading, it make u think it has 3 baskets.Would recommend it.
