Great fence

I needed a fence to keep my infant away from our wood stove. I was hesitant to buy the less expensive fences as they seemed less sturdy and too small for my purposes. I spent a little extra on this one and couldn't be happier. I set it up today and it's pretty easy to follow if you read the directions. The gate came installed on the last panel so I had to move it towards the center. Once I got the hang of tightening the connecting rods I could easily set up each end that connected to the walls. All hardware is included, even screws for securing it to a wall. I've got a raging fire in the wood stove right now and I'm very happy with it so far.

Really nice gate, and as stated by other reviews, you don’t need to buy any special kit if you use an odd number of panels, you simply need a screw driver and can easily remove switch around the connection pieces.? I used the guides included to mount and it was very easy and fool-proof.? Looks great! I did end up extending the baby foam floor mats and fitting inter gate to prevent sliding and to stabilize and it’s perfect.

Bought to use around fireplace and haven't been disappointed after 4+ months of use.? It's about 2 ft from the opening of the fireplace, but doesn't get hot, even after the fireplace has been on for an hour.? Product comes with template to attach to wall, which makes for super easy installation.? We also used toggle bolts to reinforce attachment to wall.? In case you skip reading directions after the actual installation, make sure you turn the cylinder shaped pieces at the top to prevent the panels from moving once you get it into place, unless you're looking for a new game for your toddler to play.? The gate opening is pretty narrow, but it's not an issue for us since we rarely need to open the gate.? The matte brown color looks great, and was worth the extra cost (compared to other brands) to have it match our decor better since it'll be up for a few years.Note- picture shown is this product AND the matching 2 panel set for sale separately.

Attractive and can be used with odd # of panels

We have a very unusual opening to a room with a light creme colored carpet.? The aim is to keep our dog out of there.? We did not find the instructions very clear, but after a couple of hours this afternoon, my husband was able to get it the way we wanted it and it is absolutely the solution to our problem.? There is a reviewer on this website that explains how to put an odd number of gates together without having to buy the other kit.? (There are female and male fittings and this only comes with one type).? What we did was set up the five panels we needed, (this includes the gate).? The we took what would have been the last panel...the sixth panel...and used its hardware and replaced the fifth panel with the sixth panels hardware.? Probably the other reviewer has better instructions.? It can be done and the outcome was great.
