Cute lil pod

I like this little swing it's cute and seems sturdy enough. But the little air cushion is uncomfortable and my son goes to one side instead of on top. So I had to deflate it and put pillow behind him.

We had a hugglepod for our kids that they all fought over, so we ordered this when I couldn't find an actual hugglepod for a decent price. I should have looked more closely at the description. The hugglepod we have is a breathable nylon material, and the swing is rated for 175 lbs. This pod swing is made of a thick, heavy canvas material and so it is quite dark inside and can be a little stuffy. Additionally, it is rated for 100 lbs. This swing would be great if you have one child using it and they want a darker space, or if it's used indoors. We have four kids (usually two want to be inside at a time, never more than that) and they like to read inside the swing, so the darkness is a negative for us (for sensory needs it may be a positive in your book though!). Overall, it's a good swing, just not what our family had been looking for.
As far as assembly, we had straps from a hammock that we wrapped around a tree branch and the carabiner that was included was easy to attach right out of the box. I did not use the provided straps just because what we had on hand was easier for us.

Great fun swing pods

We love our new pod swings! I like the adjustable strap as opposed to rope that some others have. It made it really easy to adjust the height for my kids. I had to put them really low so they could get in and out on their own. Once they got the hang of it they have been using them often everyday! I also bought spinners to attach so they can spin around which they love. They get a kick out of swinging and bumping each other! The hanging hardware is great and seems very sturdy. I took off one star because I wish it had a nice real pillow instead of blow up one, which seems hard to find. Otherwise, we love them!
