Takes punishment like a champ!

You will not go wrong with this mighty machine! I punish this mower. It powers through weeds knee to waist high in my [****] backyard without a sense of hesitation! I’ve had this for 2 years now because I can’t pull those gas powered machines anymore. My yard isn’t huge but decent size and I don’t have it landscaped right now. Weeds are more than grass, but, this beast cuts through them with no problem.

Just buy it.

Our decade plus craftsman electric died the other day. I fretted, searched the local hardware stores and went with this. I'm glad I did. Just mowed the yard and it worked great. We've had a lot of rain down here in Texas, it was probably still a little too wet to mow, and I left it with the mulch plug in. I'll probably never use the side discharge, just not my thing. The only confusing part to me was that you press and hold the start button while lifting the bar into the run position. Other than that, wow. It had the power to get through, never bogged down, had to mow back over about 25% of my wet grass to get it cut good but it never killed itself due to too much wet mulch stuck up under. It is an electric mower, so you have to do the dance with the cord, but that's a known issue. I like that it just starts, versus a gas you sometimes get to waste time figuring out why it won't start or changing oil/filters etc. Use that cord clip, it works great to keep it attached in case you get too much pull on the cord.I'll update this once I have more experience with it, but right now I'm very impressed with this purchase.

This is an outstanding mower

This mower is so good that when my old mower (which also was this same mower) died after 10 years of hard use, I ordered the same thing.? It is a corded mower, so for those who are not used to using a mower with a cord, it takes a couple of cuttings to get used to moving the cord around? but, it comes with a cord manager that slides back and forth on the lower part of the handle to keep the line out of the cut area. Also, I believe the corded mower costs a lot less than a battery operated mower.
