You don't have to mess with gas and oil.

I love this mower but it can be a hassle dealing with electrical cords.? But if you mow away from the plug in socket first, it is easier.? Do not go to the cord end first, then mow towards it.If I ever need another electronic mower, I will get the battery run kind.

Like vacuuming my lawn.

I am enjoying this new lawn mower. Light weight, easy to push, no fooling with gas, oil, pulling and tugging to start, hauling in for spark plugs, tue ups etc etc etc. So easy and the cord is not an issue. At all! It’s like vacuuming the law. I wanted the battery operated but but the cost was WAY higher and on my 1/4 acre lot? this corded electric is perfect! I highly recommend.

I like this mower ...

I like this mower. I just got tired of having to have expensive gas mowers tuned up every season and fussing with the carburetor and gas stabilizers, and changin oil, etc, etc., etc.? I'd considered an electric before, but just didn't think one would be up to the job. My newly-purchased string trimmer (which replace a very touchy gas trimmer) convinced me that electric motors have come a long way. This mower was a very pleasant surprise. Plenty of power, no worries about whether it will start, no oil changes, no plug changes, no filters. It starts. It mows. It does a nice job on the lawn, and though it's not self-propelled, it pushes easily with one hand. I can mow my 3000 sq feet of lawn as fast as I ever did with either of? the 6hp self-propelled gas mowers this thing replaced..Get a good, heavy duty power cord to go with it. Managing the power cord took a few passes, but it's easy enough once you get the hang of it. Just keep mowing in back and forth swaths that keep you moving away from the power outlet. That keeps the cord always in the already mowed area, which make cord management quite easy.

An electric lawnmower that actually works, and works, and works...

Smooth running and easy to operate. Quick start, simple height adjustment, runs clean and quiet. Well-built and lightweight. The larger rear wheels makes it very easy to push or pull. Plenty of options for your lawn cutting preference. Overall, very satisfied. Especially with a purchase price below $155. The best part: No more messing around with gas, oil, and the maintenance of a combustion engine. A quick spray with a garden hose on the undercarriage and a wipe down on the top side and away it goes. Friends and family are now interested in owning one.2018 update: Still running smooth. Did replace the blade after nearly three years of weekly use on two properties. Blade removal and install was a breeze. Would definitely buy this mower again, but there's no need.2019 update: Continues to run strong without any issues. Thinking about buying a new one, but this one continues to easily cut through the thickest, tallest growth (both lawn and scrub). Really impressed with this product's durability and ease of operation. Have had to buy a couple new blades but that's all part of use and maintenance.

Great mower

I have had electric mowers forover 15 years. My last one, a B & D died last summer. I had this one assembled in about 20 minutes. The first mowing of this year had my rear lawn at over 6". I have a crappy back yard with two kinds of grass (one is a very fine that clumps) with lots of uneven ground. The mower bogged some on the fine grass but still chewed it out. The larger rear wheels made it much easier to mow over the rabbit holes(?) than my previous mower.? As a long time user, I have no problem with controlling the cord. As I finished, my young neighbor got his gas mower out and started pulling the cord. I gathered the cord, cleaned the mower and got a beer. He was still pulling and pulling. I had to face my chair the other way to hide my smile.Update: mowed my back yard and the grass was 6" ABOVE the cut height. Mowed it like a champ. I really like this machine. Again, the larger rear wheels help on uneven ground. You can see a youtube demo here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ARZfSiLVfg
