Big chair, love it!

I love this chair! It's so big so I can sit all different ways while I'm outside reading for hours. It's definitely not something I would take for travel since it is so big though not I bought it for home use so it's perfect. I've only had it a short time but I'm leaving it outside all summer and will report back on how it holds up.

Excellent chair!

Im disabled and needed a chair for camping. I was hesitant to buy this because of the cost.Cons:It's too heavy for me to be able to carry. It's difficult to recline if you have back problems that causes weaker limbs. The fabric doesn't breathe and you get hot quickly.Pros:It is comfortable.Small aide table is super handy. This chair is super stable!! (I'm 230lbs.)It's a bigger chair that allowed me to sit in it with my twin 5 year old granddaughters on my lap and my small dog between them.Yes, this chair it's pricey but I promise you won't be disappointed. It is truly worth y [****] and I'm glad I bought it.

Great for Recovery from Ankle Surgery!

My daughter broke & dislocated her ankle.? Her orthopedic surgeon said she would heal better if she could keep her foot as high as her nose.? We looked at regular recliners and used recliners and they were too big for her small apartment and didn't recline far enough.? We bought this chair somewhat in desperation and it worked perfectly!? She puts a pillow under her lower leg while reclined and it's very comfortable for her.? We got the heavy duty version because we didn't want it to slide when she was getting herself into and out of it.? It reclines and rses slowly so there is no "out of control" movement.? The locking mechanism is perfect to make sure it stays in position when she is getting out of it.? It doesn't say "perfect for recovery from ankle surgery" in the description - but it sure is!

Great for Tall-ish People

I read tons of reviews of zero gravity chairs to fit my taller frame.? Many were perfect for average sized people but not above 5'8 or so.? I'm 5'10.5 and 180 lbs and this chair is perfect for me.? My husband is 6'6 and 185 and while he loved the comfort, his feet hang over the bottom bar so he either has to bend his knees to place his feet on the bar or deal with the eventual discomfort of the bar digging into his legs.? My neighbor is 5'4 and 125 or so and it's pretty large for her. She had a bit of trouble getting out of it.? She did like it though and is looking for a smaller one for herself.Overall, I love this chair.? I read other reviews that it doesn't age well outside; I store mine in my sunroom and take it outside when ready to use.? It feels very sturdy.? I love that it can be locked in any position.? There is a learning curve to opening it and moving it once sat in it, but it's not difficult.? The table is a great accessory; I take crocheting, a book, my phone, a couple different drinks, etc. out with me and I have a place to put all of it.This chair is perfect if you're like me and don't have an outdoor patio/deck space and would like to relax outside.

Very Nice

I got this to use while visiting my daughter in NYC. She lives in a tiny studio apartment and the only places to sit are on her bed or in the floor. I purchased this and had it delivered to her so it was there for me when I arrived. We’d set it up usually in the evening once we were settled in for the night to watch tv and it was exactly what I needed to be comfortable and save my back! I’d just fold it up and put it against the closet door when we were getting in bed, and it was out of the way until needed again. It is very sturdy and provides great support. I used the included pillow for lumbar support. The attached tray was great and came in handy when having coffee/drinks, as well as a good place to put my phone and tv remote. The chair is a bit heavy but since I was only going a few steps with it, it was no big deal. I had a bit of trouble folding it until I realized you need to slide the attached pillow back up to the head position. This was a lifesaver (a back saver!) for me and I’m so thankful Walmart had it and that I was able to have it delivered to her directly! I was there almost a month and I told her she could get rid of it when I left, as it is a bit unsightly in her tiny, very feminine apartment-but so far she’s kept it around. One night she was sick and needed to prop herself up so sleep (sinus problem), and she actually slept in the chair! It has turned out to be a pretty great purchase!
