Ease of access and assembly!

The little stabiliser metallic piece came bent a bit too wide so when I wedged it into the doorframe, the whole assembled unit wouldn't stay flush against the wall at first. After I placed the pointed end under a table leg, then clamped that 1st bit back into shape with an adjustable open-end wrench tool, this became a great workout assembly that helps you safely get abs worked without worrying about ruining your doorframe. Love how the unit slips on and off the stabiliser and stores when not in use.

Perfect P90X pull-up bar; incredible value overall

I have a pretty decent collection of equipment in my home gym but this is an important fixture in my routines. In addition to using it for P90X, I always ensure I have a variety of pull-ups for each workout. Here are my thoughts:-VARIETY-Using different hand positions and grips, I do eight different pull-up exercises with this bar. In addition, this bar is excellent for a few core exercises, like hanging leg lifts. For dips, it's too low and you can't get enough range. If you don't have push-up bars, this is a good alternative but obviously you have very limited hand placement options.-DIFFICULTY-Everybody has a different strength-to-body weight ratio. For some, doing a few pull-ups using your own weight can be quite difficult. If you need it more challenging, you can add hanging weights. I'm guessing more people would need to make it easier, where I would recommend using a chair to assist you until you get strong enough to use the bar without one.-STURDINESS-My weight fluctuates between 160 and 180, depending on what I'm training for. I have 100% confidence that this will support me each time. I don't even feel like I'm taxing the bar or the doorway.-PLACING/REMOVING-This bar sits in my gym when not in use and it takes me less than five seconds to place it on the doorway. The same goes for taking it down when I'm done. One thing to note is that although my door frame and the bar are both structurally sound, I do have black marks on the door trim and on the wall above the door.-RECOMMENDATION-This is the biggest bang for the buck and I believe this is a must-have item for any home gym.

Exactly as described

I saw a few people complaining about their door molding not working with the . It tells you in the description what the door requirements are, & works just as described on my 27" wide door with 3/4" molding. It's a great workout any way you look at it. I put mine on the bathroom door so that everytime I go to the bathroom, I do 4-5 pull-ups at least. I got this 2 weeks ago to help me get ready for Basic Training in the Army & I'm already past the minimum physical requirements for upper body (13 push-ups, 17 sit-ups) & hoping to triple that before I leave. Works great if you put forth the effort. 5 stars.EDIT: It's been a few months now, & I'm in significantly better shape now. I do have one complaint that puts this thing down to 3 stars though. When positioning the? to do sit-ups, it requires WAY too much focus on your legs to keep it from slipping up or out of place. There's nothing but gravity holding it down, & with sit-ups your feet & legs always want to go up. So I ended up having to put 2 screws just above where I position it to keep my feet down. It's still easily removable, but did require drilling screws in the molding for me. Also, put duct tape around the bar where it meets the side of your door molding, or it will leave black marks.

Very good product

This pull-up bar is almost perfect for a beginner or anyone that wants a pull-up bar at their house. The only problem is since I’m tall I have to pick up my legs so I don’t touch the ground.
