This little fridge came as expected. I followed the advice of one of the reviewers and left it sit upright for 24 hours, as one should with an air conditioner. Same principle, same components. It works very, very well. Yeah, I don't much like the can holder either, but with one or two cans in the bottom, it holds other items nicely. The freezer works great!, no, it doesn't auto defrost. It's about 8" high, by 12"wide and 12" deep. It holds quite a lot for a single person. The shelf with a bar on the door was an unexpected bonus. I highly recommend this great little fridge. It's extremely quiet. Kinda sounds like a mouse in the wall when it turns on, not that I would know what THAT sounds like! lol.

This fridge has been great and for the past several months. I gave it a four for temperature control because it seems to always run a little cold (items in rear of fridge freezing even with temp adjustment) but it is not over frosting the way some other users have described. When it arrived, there were no dents, there were no packaging issues. It holds approximately six bottles of water in the drawer, several cans on the door, and you still have two shelves and other door pockets to work with. The little shelf above the large bottle space is perfect for mini cans. The large bottle space is tall enough for most 750 ml bottles of wine and wide enough front to back for a large Gatorade. Great little fridge!

The most annoying aspects about most mini fridges is that the freezer builds up condensation and leaks into the fridge. But with this little guy, the freezer is completely separate. As long as you don't try to store open food items in it, you'll never have to dry it like you do with other mini fridges.Temperature control works great, it's become pretty quiet since it broke itself in, and it's got plenty of shelves and space.If I had to knock it for anything it's that the door shelves are awkwardly sized but they still function.

This is the second one I've bought (got it for my son). I have one in my office that's 3 years old and it still runs great! Both came without dents or scratches, so based on some other reviews I guess I was lucky there. One really important thing: If you buy this you MUST let it settle overnight in the spot you plan on using it BEFORE you plug it in. After reading the reviews where people had issues, it was indicative to me that they didn't wait long enough. What technically happens is that liquid coolant gets in the lines or compressor because of tipping, shipping, jostling, etc., When you turn it on it without letting it drain back into the reservoir, it gets into the compressor in liquid form instead of gaseous, as designed. The result is that it will damage or blow the piston seals. You make not see it for a few months, but the damage is there. Bottom line: Just be patient and wait...

Little champ! Just 5 days after buying this (for upstairs next to my bed, for ice packs), my main fridge died, actually while grocery shopping a huge stock-up trip. I was very happy to find out that this separate freezer compartment is big enough to hold 4 full sized ice creams, and 5 roasts! It saved the day! Really nice to have a back up fridge/freezer for emergencies. I think right there, the cost paid for itself with saved groceries! As other reviews noted, the sound is quiet. It does not wake me up during the night, and I am a light sleeper. It is right next to my bed. Overall well designed. Also as noted by many other reviews, it arrived with a dent, due to flimsy and cheap packaging from the manufacturer. I lucked out, as the dent is on the bottom in the back, and cosmetic only. Seems like it should have 2-3" styrofoam packaging, instead of just the 1", barely held together with loose strapping. Also note that for the freezer to work, the temp gauge must be set on at least 4. Anything less, the freezer wont freeze. I would buy this again! Why did I wait so long to begin with?!!
