Easy to assemble, sturdy

I intented to use this as only a stand for a toaster oven but have come to rely on the storage underneath.? Good sized and sturdier than I expected.

Great cart for the price.

This cart is solid, sturdy, and stable.? Easy to assemble. The joins are true, and it's level; the pilot holes are placed with good care and measure, without error. The drawer bottom is the same fancy masonite material as the side and back panels; no big deal and its functional. It's not that bad for an economical cart.? It's good quality masonite too ( if there is such a thing ).The drawer bottom is easily replaced with something thats about 3/8 inch thick if desired, or 1/4 or 1/2 inch thick.? I measured the interior of the drawer at 19 3/16 x 13 3/4 x 3/8 for flush fit bottom, in inches.? I wouldn't trust the drawer with exceptionally heavy items like a lot of cast iron or baking stones, or gold bricks or your cache of diamonds and jewels, unless its replaced with something more substantial.? One could replace the side and back panels too, if desired, in similar fashion.? The nice thing about masonite is its easily painted, and easy to replace.? The drawer is very solid, other than the masonite bottom, which is fine for most uses. The shelves are slats, and fit perfectly; no screws required.? Easily removed for cleaning and then put back in place. This cart has no bottom; it is bottomless.? This is exceptionally useful for hiding an escape tunnel entrance, or a passage to secret treasure, or a portal to another dimension.? The cabinet and the bottom shelf are open to the floor.? This is easily covered with another piece of wood, or laminate, or masonite held in place with a bracket or few fasteners of some sort; at the owners expense and effort. The hex keyed lag screws are not the greatest; they're soft and easily stripped; a cheap hex key [****] wrench dingsboomer thingy is supplied with the kit.? The lags are #14 x 2 inch. I guess the screws are supposed to be brass, but they're fairly soft for a brass lag.? The pilot holes are shallow.? I used zinc wood screws #14 x 1 3/4 inch as replacements for some of the lag screws.? They were much easier to set, the shorter length still providing plenty of bite. Two inch lag would probably be better, but I went with 1 3/4 zinc for a couple of them.? I may replace all lags eventually.? Otherwise, it was easy assembly.? A good quality hex wrench or hex key driver may help; although the hex key supplied with the kit is functional.? [****] screw driver is also required, and not supplied. The casters are cheap plastic and not meant for any great load, but they're easily replaced too.

I’m glad I got this

Just what I needed. Our apartment has no way of hooking up a dishwasher and no cabinets. This serves two purposes: holds our portable dishwasher and stores the essentials for everyday cutlery/dishes. We can roll it up to the sink and roll it away.I wish the assembly wasn’t so awkward. I was afraid to take my hand off the side board cause of how heavy it was and how you have to screw it on. I heard a few cracking sounds but it looked fine. The holes are just holes. It’s not pre-drilled so make sure you aim your screws straight and try to do it once cause you might strip the wood. It sounds worse than it really was. I put it together by myself and I do this rarely. And be careful with the backboard, it’s thin so be mindful of what you push it up against.I think it looks really nice. It made our lives a lot easier. This would make a great mini island if I didn’t have to put a dishwasher on top of it ??

I was so happy with the way everything lined up

I bought this cart for my sister in law for Christmas. I received it in just a couple of days of ordering. I had read the reviews and I thought that I would give it a try. Some of the other reviews stated that the directions were not written out. No they were not, BUT,,,, I unloaded the box and took my parts list and laid them out from A B C etc. I opened the screws and made sure I had everything before I started. Each diagram specifically showed you exactly what to do. I was so happy with the way everything lined up. Every screw hole was precise. When I was done putting it together, I was so in love with the product. For the price, you can not beat it!! By the way, I am a 59 year old female and I put it together myself. It took me longer to lay the pieces out then it did to actually assemble it.? My husband did not even have to touch it. I highly recommend this product.

This is a Solid, Attractive and Functional Cart

NICE CART!First, let me say the box arrived in perfect condition and the packing was very good. All parts were accounted for so the paperwork thoughtfully supplied by? so you could order missing or damaged parts was not needed. .The cart is the size we were looking for to put in our fifth wheel. It has a pretty decent sized drawer which was important to us since we lacked top drawer space in the fifth wheel. (3"D x19"W X 13"D interior dimensions)I am an experienced woodworker and do it your selfer and this cart went together in about 35-40 minutes with about 35 seconds worth of extra hands from my lady. I checked the fit of the pieces first and then used a light coat of glue when assembling to give the thing extra sturdiness. What is it they say now ? Easy peasy?Every part fit perfectly and the only blemish on anything was a small patch of filler on one side of the towel bar. Wouldn't you know that through inattention I'd manage to install it that side up. No big deal- I can touch it up with a bit of mineral oil.The front doors have just the tiniest bit of rub when you close them but the overall product looks great and with two nice slatted shelves inside, it's very functional. Two small things that I think would improve it (and I will probably do with mine) is installing a reinforcement slat under the middle of the relatively thin drawer bottom and installing better (rubber) casters, though the existing casters roll well enough. I'm just always a little leery of plastic in moving parts and in addition the plastic ones won't give the best traction on the vinyl flooring in our fifth wheel.I looked at a lot of carts before deciding on this one and it was notable how many poor reviews almost all had, including this one. There is no question that damage in shipping, parts that don't fit or poorly finished elements are annoying. But judging from the number of people who submit questions that are clearly already answered in the product description, I have to say that I believe there is a lot of user error going on. If you don't read carefully, you can't blame the product.BTW, with this cart, the pictorial instructions are more than adequate and if you get the correct top and bottom rails connected to the first side, you have the project well in hand. So pay close attention to items F, G. H. and I. Each is different. In summary, we are both very pleased with the appearance and the quality at this price point. I would recommend this cart to anyone looking for a good (sturdy) cart in this size. Two final thoughts - rub a little candle wax on the wooden drawer slides, particularly if your drawer feels a little tight. It will slide more smoothly.? - and yes I don't like the [****] wrench either but it happened that I didn't have the [****] bits for my impact driver - gotta get those.
