This product was an excellent purchase for me. It is affordable and yet the final product is sturdy, beautiful and very functional. I was impressed by how well everything fit during the assembly. Very ingeniously conceived and the assembly pictures are very detailed. You have to carefully follow the assembly instructions and the results will be excellent. It does take a long while to assemble.? I did it by myself so it is doable with one person but it would be easier to have two people. They supply extra screws and assembly parts, which is terrific. The amount of glue for the dowels they supply is not enough though. No big deal, just have some ready before you start the assembly and problem solved. Sometimes when you assemble products and you reach the end part things don’t quite fit well and you have to backtrack. With this product everything was so precise that the top part fell into place by itself once I put it in the right location.
I love it so far. I live in Minnesota, lower level of my house is a bit colder than upstairs. Put this in the family room and it surprisingly warms the whole room(17X35). Looks great too. A receiver will not fit below,? not a big deal,? put speakers below, has plenty of space on top.
TVs are so cheap now but TV stands can cost more than the TV.? After purchasing a 65" TV We looked for a stand at multiple retailers and found stands costing $500 or more.? This stand looked too good to be true but we trusted the reviews and we are glad we did.Like IKEA furniture this stand comes in a very heavy flat box.? The instructions were good but the included glue ran out halfway through the assembly process so have some on hand.? It took about an hour to put it together but once assembled it looks great.? It looks much more expensive then the price would have you believe.? The Traditional Brown color looks like solid wood and you'd have to get close to tell otherwise.The only thing I do not like is the back panels of the stand.? Each of the 3 openings has 6 holes for cables.? It would be nice if those holes were punch outs because it really does make the stand look cheaper.? If I did it again I may even leave those out.? We ended up using books to mask the holes and it looks fine.
Easy to assemble, quiet, warm and looks great!
So I originally ordered this from Best Buy and that was a horrible choice. Ordered it July 13th and then got a notification on July 31st, the day it was supposed to be delivered, that it was delayed until August 24th. Was already unhappy with this but still expected it to come eventually. Wouldn't let me cancel online after I got tired of waiting so I had to go in store to go cancel it. Needless to say I was pretty pissed. It was from the company [****] which is the same one here and Best Buy continually blamed the company for the mistake. Anyways, I came on Walmart and ordered it and it was here before I was expecting it to be delivered.The box is extremely heavy, maybe I'm just small but I had a lot of trouble getting it inside without my boyfriend. I wanted to build it before he got home to surprise him and I did but it was a long process. Not impossible to do alone but the instructions can be a little confusing at times. Expect the building to take about an hour or an hour and a half if you're building it alone, otherwise it wouldn't be too bad with two people. Unpacking the box I was surprised at how heavy and thick the individual pieces were, seemed like pretty good quality. Not going to say it's amazing quality because it is particle board but it's still beautiful and nice and sturdy. Before buying I read bad reviews but I don't really see where they're coming from because I absolutely love it. Aside from being difficult to build, this media cabinet is extremely worth it for the price. I absolutely love it in my living room.Would 100% recommend
